Ryan Smithson - is a physical education and health teacher at Maples Collegiate. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Sustainability, Creativity and Innovation at Cape Breton University. Ryan has a passion for sustainable initiatives and is one of the initiators of the Maples Garden Project.

He is a big supporter of sustainable initiatives and has been working hard with Kevin to develop cross-curricular connections in sustainability between geography and science.
